PRIMARY School children are gearing up for an action-packed 2014 as organisers from the Camden Schools Sports Association kick off another fun-filled year.

Youngsters will take part in a whole host of sports, including football, cricket, basketball, swimming, tag rugby, athletics, dodgeball, and rounders.

The last competition of 2013 saw eight schools turn out for the chance to win top honours in the CSSA Benchball Championships.

Children were mixed into teams represented by colours, with the Oranges winning the ‘A’ Team event and the Browns taking top spot in the ‘B’ team ­competition.
