Belsize Park RFC’s 1st XV

VICE-captain Richard Wilson insists his players will bounce back after Belsize Park RFC’s 1st XV lost their opening game of the season in London North-West Division Three.

Despite having home advantage on Saturday, Belsize Park were narrowly beaten 23-18 by London Nigerian following a closely fought contest at Regent’s Park. 

“London Nigerian proved that they were a very decent side,” said Richard. “Despite having the majority of possession and putting together some good phase play, their defensive pressure was superb and we will look to learn from this. 

“We will look quickly to get back to winning ways and look forward to heading to their place for the return leg.”
