Before you vote, think about who has done what

• AS May 3 approaches I suggest you look very carefully at what your present councillors have done or not done to support the community over the past two years.
Personally, I am disappointed with my local Conservative team in NW3 by their lack of engagement with the Royal Free Hospital charity, Pears build. Despite emails from residents with concerns over health and safety, the present team have passed the buck.
The new people standing, that is Marie Higson, made positive noises some months ago about the build in relationship with Hampstead Hill school; she is also a governor of the RFH, but then silence with no correspondence answered. This group of people will not be getting my family’s vote for sure.
Lib Dem Tom Simon worked hard to establish Abacus Primary School and Linda Chung has stepped in to try and sort out the mess between the RFH charity, the executives of the RFH and Camden Council.
We, the campaign group, have had meeting after meeting where issues have been agreed and the “charity champion” has gone ahead and ignored the decision.
Tulip Siddiq MP continues to campaign for Nazanin Ratcliffe’s release from her Iranian kidnapping, and I thank her for that.
So please think carefully before voting. Who has actually done anything to improve the lives of our community?
