Face masks: A little humanity please! 

• SO many residents of Somers Town are refusing to wear face coverings in local shops. Have some humanity people, please!

The shops are nearly always small and staff invariably come from the black and minority ethnic communities more vulnerable to Covid-19.

This is not always complacency but is all too often wilful and vocalised defiance. Yet these same shop workers who you put at such risk have been tireless in serving people like yourselves.

Let Somers Town take the lead and let’s all look out for each other in this simple but effective way. Be reminded that there is a £200 plus fine for not doing so.
