How the Bassett Street Community Garden looks now

• THIS time last year 80-odd members of Bassett Street Community Garden were harvesting herbs and veg from their small plots.

Soon afterwards the garden committee was disbanded, gate locked, raised beds were razed.

Now, just when outdoor community projects are most needed, it’s a waste of space. Is anyone satisfied?
