Bar to get new look as Grand Union in Camden Town is sold

A WELL-KNOWN bar in Camden Town is to get a new look after being bought by small independent pub chain.

The Grand Union, opposite Camden Road railway station, is in line to become The Draft House, with council planners reviewing proposals for new signs. The new venture is due to open at the end of next month with pub staff keeping their roles.

Draft House founder Charlie McVeigh said: “This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to acquire a key site in Camden Town.
