Back the CAP Foundation flood relief appeal

• CAMDEN is a community with roots in every corner of the globe but we have particularly strong links with Bangladesh and I was fortunate to visit Bangladesh in January.

The recent floods in south Asia have been particularly severe in Bangladesh and the scale of the human tragedy is such that more than eight million people there have lost their homes and hundreds have lost their lives.

Many Camden residents will have family members who have been affected by this appalling tragedy and many readers will want to do what they can to help.

When I visited Bangladesh I was impressed by the work of the CAP Foundation (Communities Against Poverty) and I met many British Bangladeshis from Camden and elsewhere volunteering for their projects.
