ARSENAL have unveiled a package of measures to help supporters with ticket prices.
The club has announced it is freezing season ticket and match ticket prices for the next two seasons. They are also providing a further £4 discount for supporters attending away league matches; which, with the £30 cap on away tickets announced by the Premier League, means Gunners fans will not pay more than £26 for away games.
Arsenal’s chief executive Ivan Gazidis said: “We have fantastic support, home and away.
“We know that following the club is a commitment and are always seeking to strike the right balance in our pricing.
“These steps mean that we will have held general admission season ticket prices flat for nine of the 12 years [to 2018] since our move to the Emirates.
“They are also designed to make things a little easier for our travelling fans who often face the highest prices watching Arsenal play away.
“We have consistently been strongly in favour of doing more to help away fans and were originally in favour of a Premier League proposal around travel initiatives which would have been even more generous than the £30 cap now in place.
“Once it became clear this would not receive enough support across the Premier League clubs, we supported and directed the funds to the £30 cap, plus an additional £4 ticket discount for Arsenal’s away fans.”
