HS2 works: ‘At night our lives are hell’

• I AM writing to you as we are at the end of our tether.

Our area is right at the edge of the HS2 works and has been decimated by demolition works and now by migrant homeless people, prostitution, drug taking, and street drinking.

Before lockdown we had dedicated street teams patrolling the area at night, provided by HS2 now we’ve just been left to rot.

Night after night we are woken by rowdy drunk drug takers and dealers screaming at prostitutes. Our lives are hell!
