• I AM struggling to understand why some people are so upset about Camden Council’s requirement for a photo ID to be presented by those entitled to payments helping towards their energy bills.

This is common practice all over western Europe and makes sense in light of the already existing benefit fraud. I would have thought that most fellow citizens are in possession of a passport.
