ARSENAL Ladies have been handed a testing trip away at Notts County in their opening game of the season in the Women’s Super League. 

The fixtures, released this week, see the Gunners kick off in Nottingham on April 2 before their first home game against Bristol Academy at Meadow Park on April 15. 

Manager Pedro Martinez Losa said: “We are starting the third week of pre-season and the atmosphere in the group is very positive. Players are working hard and we have new additions in the staff to make us more professional, so we’re very happy.”
