ALEX Scott said she “could not be more proud” after being one of three Gunners to feature for England against Germany on Sunday in a historic match at Wembley.
A crowd of more than 45,000 fans watched the women’s national team’s first stand-alone game at the home of English football. And despite losing 3-0, the Arsenal Ladies captain was thrilled to be involved in the game. “Playing at Wembley was massive,” the right-back told Arsenal.com. “The support for the women’s game in this country is improving all the time.”
