ARSENAL Ladies have booked their place in the quarter finals of the Champions League after winning the Battle of Britain against Glasgow City 6-2 on aggregate.  

Goals from Rachel Yankey, Jordan Nobbs and Alex Scott saw the Gunners come from behind to win 3-2 last night (Wednesday) in a pulsating second-leg tie in Scotland.

It proved a much tighter contest than Saturday’s first-leg encounter at Barnet FC’s The Hive where goals from Steph Houghton, Danielle Carter and Ellen White earned Arsenal a 3-0 victory.
