ARSENAL FC: The Crow – Leap of faith to turn this into good Arsenal week

I’VE got a great idea for a new television thing.

There’s this man, like a doctor or a scientist, and he works out how to time travel so he can kind of leap into messed-up people’s bodies and change their lives for the better.

We could stretch that out a bit; work some laughs sometimes by making him leap into a woman’s body.

It’ll all be set in the past 50 years or so, so we don’t have to do too much research. And there’ll be a great theme tune.

I’ll clean up… what do you mean that’s already been done?

If you haven’t signed the “Bring Back Quantum Leap” petition on Facebook, then all of the above will have meant zilch to you and I will have skimmed through a sticky week in terms of being required to brag about Arsenal with just blank looks.

But for those of you who remember the early 1990s show, wouldn’t it be good to quantum leap back and tinker with recent history?

We could sell Eboue. We could not play van Persie in matches when he got injured.

Most of all we could keep Yaya Toure, and there he’d be now, bossing things for Arsenal rather than for Money City.

One bit of improbable time twisting which has come true is the return of Thierry Henry.

For one day, it would be great to Q-Leap back to his glory days. We want so much from him again, but it’s sci-fi to think he can save a side spiked by
Fulham.
