• I INITIALLY felt sympathy for those complaining about schools having demonstrators spouting anti-scientific fantasies at their gates, (Anti-vaxxers stage demos at Camden schools and leaflet pupils, October 14).

But then some of the schools concerned are “faith schools”, whose raison d’être is precisely to indoctrinate pupils into believing anti-science fantasies and fairy tales (religions, of one type or another, I think they call them).

Perhaps such schools should look to the intellectual abuse they themselves are inflicting on children inside the school before complaining about what demonstrators are doing outside.

Isn’t there an old saying, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone”?
