Anne Clarke won in Barnet and Camden

• YOU report that Anne Clarke won comfortably the Barnet & Camden seat for the Greater London Authority with a majority of over 13,000, (Labour’s Anne heads to City Hall after easy win, May 13).

True, 75,180 votes were cast for Labour but Anne Clarke should always remember that over 102,500 votes were cast for other candidates.

She had 42 per cent of the votes with a constituency turnout not reported (but only 42 per cent London-wide). Not the ringing endorsement she claims.
