Lockdown raves on Primrose Hill have been common

• IT seems we can no longer rely on the forces of law and order, (Stretched police admit they can’t always stop Primrose Hill park party chaos, April 22).

They are too stretched to tackle disturbances of the peace in the shape of young people partying on Primrose Hill.

They also haven’t time to investigate thefts of parcels delivered to householders unless they’re worth more than £30, (Doorbell camera shows delivery driver TAKING package from doorstep, April 15).

I don’t blame the police. There simply aren’t enough of them.

Just as there simply isn’t enough government investment in community health and welfare – youth clubs and so on.

We are sliding fast down a slope that ends in lawless mayhem. And all the while the stock market is booming!
