Pedestrians are now walking in the road!

• THE road between Camden Town Underground station and Camden Market is very busy with pedestrians.

The council extended the pavement and reduced the road width to accommodate the vast number of visitors.

Why are traders allowed to put displays outside of their retail premises?

Traders are using this extended pavement to set up stalls, signage, and park their cars all day causing pedestrians to walk on the road.

The council have been made aware of this yet do nothing to resolve the issue (see above) while residential streets are patrolled and tickets issued regularly.

What is the reason that the parking officers ignore this stretch of the high street? And why are traders allowed to put displays outside of their retail premises?
