ALEX Scott has urged her Arsenal team-mates not to give up on retaining the Women’s Super League title just yet.

Shelley Kerr’s side dropped four vital points last week after being held to goalless draws against Bristol Academy on Sunday and Lincoln Ladies on Thursday.
It leaves the Gunners trailing leaders Liverpool with just two games to play, but Scott is adamant the race isn’t over.

“We’ve got to pick ourselves up and the Birmingham game on Sunday is a must-win now,” Scott told Arsenal.com.

We need to finish as high as we can in the league even though it’s in Liverpool’s hands.

“It’s been a competitive season and I think what people have failed to recognise is other teams have strengthened and we’ve been in a transition phase as well.”
