FIGHT fans enjoyed a night of top boxing on Thursday when the Saints of St Pancras ABC marched into the London Irish Centre in Camden Town.
There were almost 200 supporters ringside as some of the club’s brightest young stars took to the ring at the popular venue in Camden Square.
The action-packed programme included 15 bouts, 11 of which featured home-grown fighters.
Among the show-stoppers was Samuel Puscas, who was voted senior fighter of the night after winning his light-middleweight contest.
In the junior ranks brothers Bilal and Sohaib Bakali also earned the cheers of the crowd as they danced their way around the ring.
Head coach CJ Hussein praised the team effort it took to put on the open show.
“The whole club came together and helped us host one of our must exciting shows yet,” he said.
“Everyone from the chairman to the debutants played their part.
“We’ve certainly got a bright future to look forward to,” he added. “
Patrick Maguire, who was named home fighter of the night, and Nick Sofroniou were both outstanding, while Kai Warren also won his first ever fight for the club.”
