FOOTY mad youngsters got the chance to meet one of their heroes when Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain paid a surprise visit to their soccer session.
The footballers, part of the Supreme Young Voices project, were playing in a weekly session run by Access to Sports and national charity Street Games at Islington Arts & Media School.
And the 20-year-old winger, who was making a film for BT Sport’s charity initiative The Supporters Club, spent almost an hour chatting, posing for photos and signing autographs.
Access to Sports event organiser Danny Byrne said: “It was great reward for the young people to meet such a good role model and professional.
“They have been working extremely hard in training and it was a great opportunity for them to discuss football with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.”
