The 02 Centre in Finchley Road 

ALDI is moving into the 02 Centre this summer.

The supermarket is taking the two floor space next to the entrance that was for years occupied by Habitat.

It will be going head to head with Sainsbury that operates in the basement of the shopping centre.

The 02 Centre is due to be demolished along with the car park and Homebase under major house-building plans from developer Landsec.

But O2 Centre director Rebecca Ruddle said: “In time we will be creating a brand new neighbourhood here but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to make the most of what we have now.

“Aldi is a great new addition to the centre, and we know that local people will be excited to have a new affordable, convenient store as part of our current mix of brands.”
