COMPLAINTS have been filed about a voyeuristic film shot secretly in the showers of Camden’s flagship sports centre, writes Tom Foot.

Graphic content was posted online to the horror of unsuspecting swimmers and gym members at the Oasis Sports Centre in Covent Garden.

An online discussion established that the film had been shot by a mobile phone propped up in a pile of clothes in the changing rooms and not by a film camera permanently rigged-up in the corner of the showers in the style of a webcam, as was first thought.

One web-commentator said: “Just look out for creepy old dudes who keep glancing over their shoulder to their suspicious bundle of clothes on the bench right in front of the showers.”

A spokeswoman for Greenwich Leisure Ltd, which runs Camden’s sports centres, said: “GLL holds a policy that strictly forbids use of cameras in our changing rooms and notices clearly state this.”
