Age UK Camden has been helping those affected by the Chalcots crisis

Thursday, 6th July 2017

• AGE UK Camden staff and volunteers, together with other local charities, have been working with Camden Council to support those affected by the emergency Chalcots programme.

Our advice workers and dementia specialists have: run advice sessions in the rest centre; visited people in their flats with Camden social workers to help secure appropriate accommodation and support; telephoned people to give them advice, support and up to date information; visited people in temporary accommodation.

Age UK Camden supports 9,000 people each year though advice, day care, befriending, counselling, care navigation, computer training, nail care and more besides.

To find help with money or services call 020 7837 3777 or 020 7239 0400. We also welcome new volunteers. Donations are also needed so that we can continue to develop our work.
