THERE was plenty of reason for cheer before a single punch had even been thrown on Wednesday as coaches revealed that St Pancras ABC had been accredited with a Clubmark.

Saints head coach CJ Hussein (centre) and committee member Alex Springer were presented with their award by Richard Powers (right of the trio), a club support officer from the Amateur Boxing Association of England.

“It’s recognition of how well St Pancras is run,” said Mr Powers. “Parents want to know that their children are in safe hands when they train at the gym, we can assure them that they are in very safe and qualified hands.”
