Enjoy a walk on Hampstead Heath

• THANK you to Keeley-Jasmine Cavendish for agreeing with me that the world could do without “HS2 and similar vanity projects” but arguing that beauty salons and nail bars are an exception to this, (Essential beauty, October 6).

However, I would have thought these two services are by definition vanity projects for their customers. There are other ways during these difficult times… “to lift the spirits”. Perhaps a walk on Hampstead Heath!
