• I HAVE heard that a family of Ukrainians in a car (after an arduous five-day trip) have reached their kin in Camden, and one of the small items of help they can receive is a permit to park their vehicle (without it getting towed away).

They’ve been allowed this for 10 days, but I think it should not stretch the resources of Camden too much if they were allowed a full two months of this facility for a start.

No doubt they will need many other kinds of help, but this is a small gesture that Camden can make straight away.
