A sea of plastic bins has ruined the area

Thursday, 13th April 2017

• CAMDEN have thoughtlessly committed an act of self-harm by inflicting a sea of plastic bins onto its streets.

The effect of the fortnightly bin collections has degraded the appearance of our environment and is not worth the relatively small cost saving that results.

I believe that this policy will eventually be reversed as in the future people will not understand why we would want to inflict this on ourselves. The planning department must be frustrated that all their efforts to protect the character of conservation areas across the borough have been ruined at a single stroke.
