• JAMES Calmus from Belsize Labour is absolutely right to bring up Brexit as an important issue for Camden (Brexit is costing us in terms of social cohesion, January 4).

Brexit has been a big concern raised by residents on the doorstep in Frognal & Fitzjohns ward. If elected in May, we will do everything in our power to preserve the rights of EU citizens in local politics and ensure every resident has a voice.

We are disappointed to see that the candidates chosen to run for the Conservative Party in this ward are Brexiters who worked hard on the Leave campaign.

We believe a pro-Brexit, all male, slate of Conservative candidates has no place in politics in Camden, a borough which champions diversity and voted strongly Remain in the referendum.

Support our multi-cultural and diverse population, by voting Labour on May 3.
