SHIRLEY the cow and your old friend Wilma the pig will be among the Kentish Town City Farm animals starring on he BBC’s Countryfile on Sunday.

Margherita Taylor hosts the show from the paddocks in Cressfield Close for an episode celebrating work done on farms during tricky colder months.

Friends of the farm, who have not been able to visit because of the Covid pandemic, have been invited to watch-along and get tweeting.

Farm chair Angela Woods said: “Please tune in and support the farm by following us on social media, sharing our posts as well as of course adding any of your own memories or messages.”

Ski jump legend Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards is also due to appear on the BBC 1 show. It begins at 7pm.
