Full Moon and two mavises

• WALKING home across Hampstead Heath I was lucky enough to catch photographs of the full Moon rising.

Several others were also gasping at this beautiful sight. To cap it all there were two song thrushes in full voice.

My name, Mavis, is Scottish for song thrush and, as these birds are on the decline, I’m always pleased to hear them.

Full Moon and two mavises – perfect combination.
