• WE live on the Holly Lodge estate in Highgate and have recently been subjected to more frequent helicopter visits.

For years aircraft are stationary in the vicinity for several minutes at a time, but since the Salisbury poisoning we have a situation several times a day, whereby a helicopter circles and / or is stationary for up to an hour at a time.

Clue: we are close to the Russian trade mission on Highgate West Hill! Can anyone explain to me how this is in the public interest?

Are we simply letting the Russians know that we are watching them (very expensively)? It would be interesting to find out what overriding national interest is served by this.
