Unimpressed with Asda’s help for older people

04 April, 2020

• I CAN’T say that I am impressed with my online supermarket with help for the over-70s in this period.

I always meet the driver at the main door of our building to help carry up my groceries and tip him in appreciation.

Last week, however, I was told gleefully by the driver that Asda changed its policy, and no longer delivers groceries to the second floor unless there is a lift.

I was not informed of this. I would not have placed an order, as I have an injured foot. I was left stranded at the front door with no help.
