Cyclists on the pavements are shameless

18 May, 2017

Cartoon: John Sadler

• IF all the law-abiding cyclists were to mount the pavements in Camden Town, I wonder what the public and police reaction would be.

The persons who ride on the pavements and footpaths are a small minority but cause great distress to the elderly and parents of small children.

Some of those offenders are intelligent and well educated. They are shameless and sneer at anybody who even mildly complains to them about their egregious behaviour. Signage in public parts is seen as some kind of decoration to be ignored by the same set of people.
