Carlton school is vital for the community
23 January, 2020
• I’VE lived in Gospel Oak for 25 years and am a leader in the charity A Band of Brothers (ABOB), mentoring young men who have been or are currently involved in the Criminal Justice System.
I am saddened to learn that Carlton School, rated good by Ofsted, is being considered for closure in April. ABOB, as an organisation, notice that our experiences in early life, as a child, can have an enormous impact on whether behaviour in later life is healthy or unhealthy.
We recognise and support the fantastic work that is done in Carlton School, and believe its continued existence is of fundamental importance to the local community in Gospel Oak.
