Camden Jobtrain is a unique vocational and support agency catering for people from disadvantaged backgrounds. In order to enhance our work with year 10 and 11 disapplied young people through our Newturn Ventures (NTV) programme, we seek:

Part-time GCSE English Tutor for NTV and NTV+ Sports
Pro rata salary based on ATP & C Scales 5- SO1 £20,334 – £26,238 per annum (inc LW). Hours of work negotiable.

Newturn Ventures (NTV) has achieved excellent results and success in North London (particularly Camden) with its work engaging young people who require an “alternative” to the school experience. The Project is based in Holloway, London N7. NTV has proved so popular that we have added a sports “arm” at our Gym in NW3. Both projects are exciting and varied. To further enhance both programmes we extended them to provide GCSE English and Mathematics for attendees last year, thus ensuring they receive a complete programme.

If you would like to teach part-time and possess the relevant qualifications and an interest in community-based learning, one of these could be the job for you.
