Olympic bid for baby kid

IT’S the dream of every sports-mad Dad – when the baby arrives, they tell their friends and relatives that they’ve got an Olympic champion on their hands.
But a Highgate couple, who live in Bisham Gardens, can say that if London wins the 2012 Olympic games, their child will definitely be appearing.
Little William Talbot, pictured here aged just four hours old with parents Tanya and Jon was born on December 20 – and bid organisers have told London parents of any child born on the that date they will be given a place in the Olympic opening ceremony parade and free tickets to events.
Mum Tanya, a teacher, was thrilled with the prospect. Tanya said: “It’s extraordinary.
“I saw it on the news and thought ‘what an exciting opportunity’ but I hadn’t thought William would qualify because he wasn’t due yet. It means we could get tickets for the opening ceremony for us and a great opportunity for him.”
Dad Jon added: “We’re hoping the bid is successful – I’m looking forward to it already.”
