Newsreader opens up shop for children’s charity that’s ‘unique’

CHANNEL 4 newsreader Jon Snow got the scissors out on Saturday when he opened a new charity shop in Tufnell Park.
The Hornsey Trust, which has been helping children with cerebral palsy for 40 years, runs a centre for youngsters in Muswell Hill.
Money raised by the new shop in Fortess Road will help run the centre, which caters for children from north London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
After cutting the ribbon at Saturday’s opening, Mr Snow, who lives in Kentish Town, said the trust should be congratulated on its “unique” work.
He added: “It gives wonderful education provision which helps children with cerebral palsy stay in the mainstream and this shop is going to be an amazing source of revenue.”
