Out of the sun, into the limelight

AWARD-winning plants, fruit, cake and vegetables took centre stage at Hampstead Horticultural Society’s annual autumn show on Saturday.
Garden enthusiasts were able to pick up tips and cuttings at the event in St Agnes Centre, Gillingham Road, Cricklewood. Among society members celebrating best-in-show entries was Carol Bateman, with her floral display, Autumn Reflections, and her French apple tart.
