I FAGIOLINI
Conway Hall

I FAGIOLINI are a Renaissance music ensemble with a difference as they really seem to try and not only think about their programme but also their setting.
So we find the group, which was formed by a group of Oxford graduates five years ago, is hosting a series of concerts at Conway Hall and the Lansdowne Club, in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, including wine, dinner and canapés.
Headed by Robert Hollingworth, one of the men behind the excellent long running Radio Three series Spirit of the Age, I Fagiolini is performing a series of works by Monteverdi.
But not only will there be singing, there will be theatre and acting – something which not many musical ensembles attempt to do.
The tickets might sound expensive – ranging from £25 on Tuesday including wine and canapés to £75 including a three-course meal – but for such an occasion the performance should justify the cost. For more information see www.ifagiolini.com
