Oh! Bar
MY name would be mud in Camden Town if I didn’t mention
a charity bash at the Oh! Bar in Camden High Street this coming
Tuesday. The bombardment of calls and emails I’ve had about
London Roots has been phenomenal.
I can’t complain – it’s for a good cause. London
Roots is a new talent night in aid of brain injury charity Headway.
Cash from the door will directly help raise funds. The major coup
on a lengthy bill is the former U2 auxiliary guitarist Neil McCormick,
who has now established himself as a reasonable music journalist.
Other acts on the night include Amit Jani, TJ Chill, Dion Reed and
Mel Divine.
They will be serving up lots of different styles and all worth checking
out.
