XXX2: The Next Level (12A )
Sad sequel with more bangs and a bigger body count. Ice Cube takes over from Vin Diesel as his handpicked extra-special agent. There’s a flimsy plot about an attempted coup, but this is really just an excuse to show off fast car chases and exploding tanks.

This is a serious tale of faith and disappointment as told in the dogme tradition. A female vicar comes to a women’s prison where a faith-healer is held and when the vicar falls pregnant the relationship between the two becomes very complicated indeed.
Don’t expect a happy ending but do expect a moving exposition of genuinely emotional issues.
